Kaufman To Receive Conservation Biology Award from The Field Museum

Pardee Center Faculty Fellow Les Kaufman has been selected as the recipient of the 2011 Parker/Gentry Award in Conservation Biology presented by The Field Museum of Chicago.

The award, presented annually since 1996, honors an individual, team or organization “whose efforts have had a significant impact on preserving the world’s natural heritage and whose actions and approach can serve as a model to others.”

Prof. Kaufman will travel to the Field Museum in December to receive the award and deliver a lecture.
