Pardee Fellow Presents at the 69th Annual Convention of the Midwest Political Science Association

Pardee Center Graduate felllow Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu attended the 69th Annual Convention of the Midwest Political Science Association held in Chicago from March 31st to April 3rd. Ahmet delivered a paper entitled “Being European/ Being Muslim: International Relations and Contending Forms of Muslim Presence in the West.” Ahmet’s paper discusses the links between the discipline of international relations and contending interpretations of citizenship in the West, where the multiplying number of Muslim citizens and immigrants is increasingly seen as problematic.
