Henrik Selin Attends UNEP Meeting in Chiba, Japan
Pardee Faculty Fellow Henrik Selin was in Chiba, Japan to attend the second session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to prepare a global legally binding instrument on Mercury (INC2) will be held in Chiba, Japan from 24 to 28 January, 2011.
Prof. Selin was the author of Pardee Paper No. 5 – Managing Hazardous Chemicals: Longer-Range Challenges that Prof. Selin published with the Pardee Center in the Spring the recently published book, Global Governance of Hazardous Chemicals.
Prof. Selin is an associate professor in Boston University’s International Relations Department. He has written and edited numerous journal articles and books on climate change and hazardous substances and wastes.
