Pardee Center Featured in BU’s “Research 2010” Magazine

The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future has been highlighted as one of the feature stories in the 2010 edition of the Research at Boston University 2010 magazine. The Pardee Center has also featured in the magazine in earlier years, including most recently in the 2008 edition.

The write-up, titled “Imagining Tomorrow Today,” reviews the various activities at the Center, particularly focusing on the regional (multi-national) analyses of current trends and future potentials being undertaken at the Pardee Center. The writeup also quotes the Center Director, Prof. Adil Najam, on these various activities.

In particular, the writeup talks about the Center’s 2008 conference on China’s future and the book that was published based on that deliberations and on the 2010 conference on Africa 2060, whose report has just been released and which is part of a larger ongoing project at the Pardee Center with the same name.
