Prof. William Moomaw, Professor of International Environmental Policy and Director of the Center for International Environment and Resource Policy at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, discussed his work on environmental policy and sustainability during an informal lunch gathering with Pardee Summer Fellows on June 25.

Prof. Moomaw shared with the Fellows on his experience being three-time lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, and the need to couple policy decisions with local efforts and practice. He also shared how his wife and him conceptualized and built their dream low-energy house a few years ago. Prof. Moomaw had spoken at the Pardee Seminar previously on the topic “Is The Future Renewable?” Watch the video here.

This event was part of a series of informal meetings between the Pardee Graduate Summer Fellows and faculty members sponsored by the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future.
