Adil Najam Presents to International Business Executives at TiasNimbas

Prof. Adil Najam, Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Longer-Range Future  at Boston University, gave a keynote lecture on ‘Future Challenges for Climate Change and Development’ at the TiasNimbas Business School at Tilburg University – one of the leading European business schools in the Netherlands – to the executive MBA program (IIM) which was attended by current students, alumni and faculty.

Addressing an audience of around 75 executives, Prof. Najam talked about emerging challenges, particularly highlighting that climate has been seen mostly as a ‘carbon’ problem but needs to be contextualized more as a development issue, especially in relation to climate adaptation.

In an engaging Q&A session, the discussion focussed on the extent of the connection between business and climate change.
