Prof. Najam’s Chapter Included in Popular College Textbook

Prof. Adil Najam’s paper on Globalization and Environment (co-authored with Mark Halle and David Runnals) has been included in the new edition of the popular college textbook “Green Planet Blues: Four Decades of Global Environmental Politics” edited by Ken Conca and Geoffrey D. Dabelko. The paper is a review of the key trends that are going to impact the future of globalization and environment. In particular, the paper highlights the importance of development in these future trends.

Prof. Adil Najam is the Frederick S. Pardee Professor of Global Public Policy at Boston University and also the Director of the Boston University Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. He is also a professor at the departments of International Relations and of Geography and Environment. Prof. Najam’s papers had also been included in the third and second editions of this very popular college textbook, which brings together some of the best current scholarship on the subject.
