Henrik Selin is Co-Editor of New Book on Energy and Environmental Politics
Transatlantic Energy and Environmental Politics, Comparative and International Perspectives, a new book co-edited by Pardee Center Research Fellow Henrik Selin was published in early March by Ashgate.
Co-edited by Miranda Schreurs, Free University of Berlin, Germany, and Stacy D. Van Deveer of the University of New Hampshire, the book uses case studies on topics including climate change, product standards, chemical regulations, renewable energy policies, food safety and genetically-modified organisms to explore the complexities of transatlantic politics surrounding energy and environmental issues. Selin, Assistant Professor of International Relations at Boston University, is the author and co-author of more than two dozen peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters as well as numerous reports, reviews and commentaries on global and regional politics related to the environment and sustainable development issues. He also is co-editor with Stacy Van Deveer of Changing Climates in North American Politics: Institutions, Policy Making and Multilevel Governance (MIT Press).
