Pardee Center Fellows Co-author Book on Governance

A Centripetal Theory of Democratic Governance by Pardee Center Fellows Strom Thacker and John Gerring will be published by Cambridge University Press at the end of June.

Boston University faculty members John Gerring, a professor of political science, and Strom Thacker, an associate professor of international relations, are co-authors of A Centripetal Theory of Democratic Governance to be published by Cambridge University Press on June 30. 

An early review on Amazon.com calls the book "… a touchstone for social scientists, policymakers, and constitution-drafters who are concerned with the role of formal institutions in structuring the tasks of governance."
