Boston University Honored by USDLA for Best Practices in Distance Learning
On May 11, 2016, the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) presented Boston University with a 21st Century Award for Best Practices in Distance Learning. Founded as a nonprofit association in 1987, the USDLA is the nation’s leading distance learning organization. The USDLA International Distance Learning Awards are presented annually during the National Conference in St. Louis, Missouri, to “acknowledge major accomplishments in distance learning and to highlight those distance learning instructors, programs, and professionals who have achieved and demonstrated extraordinary results through the use of online, videoconferencing, satellite and blended learning delivery technologies.”
