Mary Rose
Assistant Director of Programs, BU Diversity & Inclusion
I want to be a Terrier F1RSTS Advocate because although BU’s definitions of “first gen” do not apply to me, I understand the experience of having to navigate systems, worlds, & cultures on your own. I know that a single person/relationship can make a huge difference, and I also know how important one’s context is in your experience. This is why I’ve focused my time and efforts on ways that I can help individuals, communities, organizations, and institutions to be at their best.
