Dr. Yazdanbakhsh’s research in the Center of Computational Neuroscience and Neural Technology focuses on topics in human vision and its modeling, human electrophysiology, and psychophysics. Some specific projects include a new cortical model to approach the problem of figure-ground segregation and border-ownership, motion integration by multiscale sampling, and the spatio-temporal dynamics of neural receptive fields.
