High School Honors is an exciting opportunity for high school students to study alongside Boston University undergraduates, while earning up to 8 college credits. The program offers more than 80 undergraduate courses in a wide range of subjects, from African American studies to writing—and everything in between, including biology, chemistry, economics, mathematics, philosophy, and visual arts. Students also participate in fun social activities designed for remote participants, with students from all over the country and around the world. High School Honors is a six- or seven-week program and is open to remote students only in summer 2021.
High School Honors Online offers rigorous online courses in which students learn from distinguished Boston University instructors, engage with challenging coursework, and participate in dialogue among college undergraduates and other high school students around the globe. Through online lectures, discussion boards, and individual assignments, students explore exciting subjects at the undergraduate level. High School Honors Online courses are an excellent option for independent learners with strong time management skills. Taught by our distinguished Boston University instructors, these college courses are rigorous and rewarding, while enabling students to balance learning and a flexible weekly schedule.
Note: Online courses are those designed to be online (with an OL designation) while remote courses are face-to-face courses that have been converted to a remote learning model in response to the pandemic.
