About Mugar
In the heart of BU’s Charles River Campus since 1966, Mugar Memorial is the University’s largest library, featuring vast online and print collections as well as a wide array of study and collaboration spaces and library administration for all BU Libraries. The University’s main humanities and social sciences library, Mugar also provides access to 500 databases, 150,000 journals, and over a million ebooks, with our team of dedicated librarians constantly refining and developing our collections throughout the year. In addition, the Mugar building houses the African Studies Library, Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, Music Library, and Krasker Film & Video collection.
