BU Libraries Search

Signing into your library account allows you to:

  • View all possible search results (some online resources only show results when you are signed in)
  • Request an item from another library with Interlibrary Loan
  • Save items and search queries to your Favorites List
  • Manage your requests and loans, or renew eligible materials

Course Materials

Students can access course reading lists by signing in and following the instructions below:

  1. Sign into Course Materials with your BU ID and password.
  2. To find a course, select All Lists in the drop-down on the left side of the screen.
  3. Enter the course number or instructor’s last name in the first field at the top of the screen, and select the search icon or hit return.
  4. To add a course to My Lists section of the navigation panel, select ADD next to the course name.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

ILL services are available to current BU students, staff, and faculty to borrow books, articles, and other items not available at BU Libraries.

  • All BU community members except those affiliated with the Schools of Law and Medicine may place and track requests through our online forms. Law and Medical School faculty, students, and staff should consult their school’s website for more information.
  • For general inquires to the Interlibrary Loan office, please call 617-353-3706 or email ILLMML@bu.edu.
