Research at the Science & Engineering Library

Research in science and engineering is often fast paced and increasingly interdisciplinary. The scope of research is international. The collections in the Science & Engineering Library include:

biology, chemistry, computer science, earth sciences, engineering,
environmental sciences, history and philosophy of science and scientific
biography, health sciences, mathematics and statistics, and physics.

The library has online resources and research tools that support research in all of these areas.
Start with the BU Libraries Search  or search one of the specialized Databases available through the library website.  Our Research Guides can help you locate your favorite research tools or discover new resources.

Librarians familiar with these resources and with the needs of science researchers are available for consultation with faculty, classes, individual students and other members of the Boston University community.
