Mugar Memorial Library
As Boston University’s main humanities and social sciences library, Mugar Memorial Library provides resources for study, teaching, and research. Within our seven stories, you’ll find more than 2.2 million items. Aside from extensive holdings in books, journals, and periodicals, the libraries subscribe to a wealth of online journals, databases, and resources. Mugar houses the largest computer lab on the Charles River Campus—the BU Common@Mugar—so you can access BU Libraries Search and electronic resources with ease. We are also home to the African Studies and Music Libraries, the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, Krasker Film/Video Services, the Martin Luther King Reading Room, and an IT Help Center.
