Link to library resources through Blackboard… successfully!

December 13th, 2016

in Pickering Educational Resources Library

Creating a link to a research article within Blackboard isn’t always easy.  You think you have the link, and then when you test it out, something is wrong (especially when off campus)!

To get your link correct you must have the EZproxy bit.

Many research articles are available to BU through library subscriptions: we have to pay for these things.  EZproxy is the way the BU community can prove some affiliation with BU before access is granted.

Please see the IS&T instructions on how to add the EZproxy string to the URL, so that anyone following the link can provide proof of BU affiliation.
