New Resource: Embase
The BU Libraries now have access to Embase. Embase includes over 6 million records and more than 2,900 journals that are not covered in MEDLINE. It also includes conference abstracts from biomedical, drug and medical device conferences dating back to 2009. Embase currently indexes 6,000+ conferences covering over 2 million conference abstracts.
Embase is the database equivalent of EXCERPTA MEDICA. It is international in scope and covers a broad range of cross-disciplinary subjects such as allied health, basic sciences, genetics, pharmacology, biotechnology, allied health sciences, environmental health, public health, forensics and more. It is an essential research database in support of the increasing numbers of requests for librarian assistance for systematic reviews, and enhances access to high quality global information sources for Boston University.
The collection may be accessed directly through this link http://library.bu.edu/embase or through the BU Libraries Search.
