Event Highlights: Evangelicals and Electoral Politics in Latin America

We are delighted to have resumed our faculty lunch talks! On Tuesday, February 14, Taylor Boas, Associate Professor of Political Science, talked about his newly published book, Evangelicals and Electoral Politics in Latin America: A Kingdom of This World (Cambridge University Press, January 2023). Drawing on research Brazil, Chile, and Peru, Boas examines why it is that religious minorities well represented and politically influential in some democracies but not others.
