Publication Awards help BU faculty cover production costs for peer-reviewed books with direct relevance to the humanities, such as indexing, permissions, images, and subventions.
Eligibility
We welcome applications with humanistic content from all full-time BU faculty, as well as professors of the practice, lecturers, and administrators who hold a PhD. Tenured and tenure-track faculty in the humanities are given priority.
Single-author monographs are strongly preferred over edited volumes.
Timing
Apply after your manuscript has been accepted and well before it goes to press, so the Center can be credited as a sponsor in your book’s acknowledgments.
