Since 1980, the Boston University Center for the Humanities has built a distinctive model for humanistic research, creative innovation, and collaboration across BU.
We support humanities scholars and students through fellowships, awards, and three initiatives:
- Humanities Leadership Initiative (HLI)
Professional development for students, faculty, and staff. - Humanizing the Digital (DHI)
Critical engagement between digital technologies and the humanities. - Humanities in the World Initiative (HWI)
International scholarship that sends BU faculty abroad and brings world-class scholars here.
