
PhD Student; History of Art & Architecture
Zineb is a PhD student studying the art of the trans-Saharan gold trade in medieval North and West Africa. She is an archaeologist who has excavated in sites in North Africa and Spain in Ancient and Islamic layers. She previously specialized in the Numismatics of the Almoravid and Almohad periods and in the semiotics of the geometric shapes in Islamic art and architecture.
