Grace Ghinea is a recent graduate of the University of Florida, where she obtained both a Bachelor’s of Art in the History of Art and a Bachelor’s of Art in Italian Studies. As part of her undergraduate studies, Grace spent two months traveling in Italy and studying Italian language, art, and culture. This trip fostered her current research interests, which center around Italian art and its global and cross-cultural impacts, particularly during the Baroque Period. Grace also received a grant from the University of Florida, which allowed her to conduct research on a series of photographs located in the school’s library archives; her work will be published in fall 2026. Before attending school in Florida, she spent her life in Virginia and is eager to be returning north and experiencing New England. After obtaining her MA at Boston University, Grace hopes to engage in a curatorial role or research position to further explore and share her love for Italian art and history.
