BU PhD candidate awarded Max-Planck Institute post-doctoral fellowship

MP2A9881Erin Hyde Nolan, a PhD candidate who will defend her dissertation in February 2017, has received a post-doctoral fellowship from the Max-Planck Institute’s Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence, Italy. Her project examines photographic archives of the Middle East and their codification in European and American museum systems. It will map the trajectory of these collections over space and time through various visual and digital technologies.
