The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland’s leading university, is delighted to announce the Student Scholarship for the Masters in Philosophy in European Studies for the 2014/2015 academic year.  Attracting high caliber students from around the world, this course and scholarship may be of interest to your seniors who are considering graduate education.

Trinity’s School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies has the world’s oldest tradition of modern language studies, with chairs dating back to 1776. Today the School combines the strengths of this tradition with our distinctive Masters-level courses.

The MPhil in European Studies is a unique interdisciplinary program focusing on European identity and the development of the idea of Europe. While the program is rooted in cultural history and cultural studies, classes are made available to students in comparative literature, history, classics, textual and visual studies and political science. Students have the opportunity to learn from a rich diversity of different academic approaches to Europe.

The one-year scholarship will consist of full non-EU fee remission worth €12,735 and a stipend of €8,000 in the 2014/15 academic year. Candidates must be eligible for overseas tuition fees (non-EU). More information about the Scholarship and the course is available online.
