EPLO Traineeship Applications for the Spring 2024 Intake Are Open
The European Parliament Liaison Office in Washington DC would like to inform you about the launch of their next round of paid, full-time traineeships for US graduates! The new trainees will be joining the Washington DC office from March 1st – May 31st, 2024, with the possibility for the trainee to extend the traineeship until end of July, 2024.
The trainees’ presence in Washington DC is required for the whole duration of the traineeship. Trainees are normally offered the option to work from home one day per week. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, November 17th, 2023.
Requirements: a CV in Europass format, a personal statement and one letter of recommendation. The traineeship program remains a very sought work placement and a long list of EPLO trainees alumni share many good memories and experiences with us at our offices on K Str. DC. It is a unique opportunity for students with an interest in international affairs, transatlantic relations and EU policy. 2024 will be an atypical year with the ELPO office focused on the run-up to the European Elections in June and the November Presidential and Congressional elections in the U.S.
