Event Highlights: Boris, Brexit, and Beyond
This virtual lecture by Erik Goldstein, Professor of International Relations and History at Boston University, is the first in a series of five lectures on Brexit, hosted by BU’s Center for the Study of Europe and taking place during October 2021. In this first lecture, Prof. Golstein lays the groundwork for the remaining talks. He explains how Britain got to where it it is, the deep history underlying the decision, the role of Boris Johnson in particular, and finally, he shares some thoughts where the United Kingdom is headed. Moderating the event is Kaija Schilde, Associate Professor of International Relations and Acting Director of the Center.
