Event Highlights: Reframing Human Rights in a Turbulent Era

On Friday, February 5, 2021, Graínne de Búrca, Florence Ellinwood Allen Professor of Law at NYU Law School, presented her forthcoming book, Reframing Human Rights in a Turbulent Era (Oxford University Press, March 2021). The book offers a new account of the impact of international human rights law and challenges some of scholarly critiques of human rights as ineffective or imperialist. Profs. Susan Akram, Ioannis Kalpouzos, Tally Kritzman-Amir, and Andrei Mamolea offered comments.
