The New Atlantic Partnership

On September 13th, 2004, Boston University welcomed the European Deputy Chairman of the Polish Group in the Trilateral Commission and former Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Andrzej Olechowski, PhD. Dr. Olechowski is currently a Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations. In 2000, he was a candidate for the presidency of Poland. Dr. Olechowski’s lecture at BU addressed the evolving relationship between the European Union and the United States.

Joining Dr. Olechowski in this lecture was former New York Times foreign correspondent, John Darnton. who is also a two-time winner of the Polk Award and the 1982 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. He is now the curator of the Polk Award.
