BU Alumni: Panel of Women Economists
The Panel of Women Economists is an evening event that brings together four PhD recipients working in academia, consulting, government, and international organizations. The event is designed to:
- Give attendees some insight into career opportunities both in academia and elsewhere
- Highlight the personal experiences of each panelist within her respective industry with a specific emphasis on challenges unique to being a woman in her specific work environment
- Offer advice on how to better equip women for the job market as PhD students and beyond
The panel is facilitated by a moderator and remarks are followed by a Q&A and reception.
