I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Minoufiya University in Egypt and a Master of Science in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands. For my MSc research, I utilized numerical modeling to investigate how suspended sediment transport affects bar characteristics.
Prior to beginning my PhD, I worked as an assistant researcher at the National Water Research Center in Egypt, focusing on water engineering and related issues.
