The Department of Earth & Environment is comprised of four dozen faculty and staff, 80 graduate students, and more than 250 undergraduate majors and minors, coming to Boston from around the world, including from China, Sri Lanka, Oman, Nigeria, India, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Canada, France, South Korea, and Iran.
