Filippos is a second-year PhD student with a background in economics. His research examines wildfires and natural hazards with a particular focus on fire regimes, land use and urbanization, human uses of fire, and wildfire heritage. His broader research interests include energy economics, particularly the composition and diversification of energy mixes, and the economic implications of alternative energy pathways.
