I’m interested in physical oceanography, focused on flow-topography interactions, freshwater systems, and submesoscale dynamics. As an undergraduate, I worked on submesoscale instabilities and their impacts on an upwelling front. As a master’s student, I worked on fjord ecosystems in Chilean Patagonia, focusing on the effects of physical forcing on biogeochemistry. After that, I have been working on the impact of submarine canyons along the coast of Chile, using in-situ and modeling approaches. In my spare time, I enjoy board games and reading horror books.
