Analytical and photochemistry of organic matter
Advisor: Cédric Fichot.
My research explores carbon flux and character in the face of a changing climate. Specifically, I am working to chemically characterize organic matter and its degradation in the Mackenzie River watershed (NWT, Canada) to create a better understanding of how this matter is responding to warming, fires, and land use. This research employs the use of analytical chemistry, photochemistry, as well as in situ and remote sensing.
