Every year, Franklin C. Erickson Prize is awarded to an outstanding 3rd year student. This year’s winner is Tess Shotland!
Tess’s impact on our community is deeply felt and her accomplishments speak volumes.
Tess is a passionate, curious, and thoughtful BA/MS student, and the amount she has packed in to her first three years at BU is astounding. From spending three semesters as a learning assistant in our introductory courses, to supporting urban climate action and justice research with Professor Short Gianotti, to working with BU Sustainability and more, Tess is a valued member of our community, and we look forward to witnessing her accomplishments in her senior year.
