Associate Professor Dan Li Awarded 2022 Timothy Oke Award

Associate Professor in the department of Earth & Environment, Dan Li, was awarded the International Association for Urban Climate’s 2022 Timothy Oke Award for Original Research in the field of Urban Climatology. The award is typically given to early- to mid-career scientists who have achieved individual visibility and impact, broadened the scope of their research topics, and have demonstrated leadership. The award is named in honour of Professor Timothy Oke, as recognition of his outstanding research career, his support for young urban climatologists and his unprecedented contributions to both urban climatology and the establishment of the IAUC.
