Dr. Ana Zea SPH 20, clinical associate professor of general dentistry and director of community-based education, was unanimously elected in December 2024 as Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) president-elect for 2025. Following her year as president-elect, she will serve as president (2026) and past president (2027) with the HDA National Executive Committee.

Malekshah Oskoui DMD 98 ENDO 01 is striving to help those on the autism spectrum–one cup of ethically sourced coffee at a time. Oskoui, along with his wife Mehrnoosh, founded Epic Roastery Coffee Company, a small family business in Appleton, Wisconsin, that roasts high-quality ethically-source coffee and fosters a professional environment where individuals on the autism spectrum can contribute to a local business in a mutually beneficial way.
