How to Accept an Offer of Admission
Congratulations to admitted applicants! To accept your offer of admission, follow the instructions in your official offer letter and associated documents. GSDM Admissions delivers offer letters via email to the address provided in the application. Refer to your acceptance letter for details such as your deposit deadline, BU ID and acceptance code.
Enrolling accepted applicants must complete the enrollment requirements on or before the deadline indicated in your acceptance letter. Your seat in the class will be secured and we will enroll you in the program after GSDM Admissions has verified the timely receipt of both your completed Acceptance Confirmation form and your non-refundable tuition deposit.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BOSTON UNIVERSITY CLOSES FOR INTERSESSION BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS (exact dates TBD).
Staff are not available during this timeframe to process enrollment materials. If you receive an offer of admission in December, it is fine to submit your enrollment materials during Intersession, and we will review and process your enrollment on our return to campus.
Following the submission of the materials above:
- International applicants must submit additional forms and materials; see details here.
- DMD (four-year program) students must submit the Dean’s Certification Form (pdf).
- All enrolling applicants must complete incoming Health Requirements and submit documentation to Boston University Student Health Services at least a month prior to your program start date. Make an appointment with your health care provider now; you may need to begin a series of inoculations in order to comply with University and Massachusetts regulations.
- Enrolling applicants will be required to submit additional materials prior to matriculation. The admissions manager will communicate with you regarding requirements. You must inform your admissions manager of changes to your email, telephone number, and address.
