Master of Science in Dentistry in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (MSD)

A limited number of candidates are accepted into the MSD program. Candidates applying for this program must have completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery or international equivalent. The program is at least 1 year in duration and does not involve participation in oral and maxillofacial surgery clinical care. The program requires that candidates complete a major research effort related to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and/or Oral Biology. This research is usually conducted in conjunction with research faculty of the University. The goal is for students to develop the ability to focus, analyze, and organize complex data to address an issue in a way that contributes to the literature.
