Call for 2025 – 2026 Fellows
Selected fellows participate in bimonthly colloquium sessions to workshop research papers. This year-long conversation brings together an interdisciplinary community of scholars of religion and world affairs. Past fellows have come from anthropology, political science, religion, sociology, theology, and Boston area institutions including Boston College, Northeastern, and Harvard. Those selected as presenting fellows will be asked to prepare a working paper of 8,000-10,000 words that will be scheduled for discussion next year. There will be no presentations. CURA workshops are dedicated to focused, in depth feedback and discussion of the working paper.
Fellows will be expected to attend all sessions in-person,read papers in advance, and provide feedback for other participants.
Applicants must reside in the Boston area for the 2025/2026 academic year.

All applications are due by May 31st, 2025.
🕛 Colloquium Schedule
Sessions are held Fridays, 12:00–1:30pm throughout the academic year.
Two Categories of the Fellowship Program
Presenting Fellows
Receive a $1,000 award for successful presentation and yearlong participation in the colloquium.
Non-Presenting Fellows
Receive a $500 award for yearlong participation in the colloquium without presenting.
