Institute on Culture, Religion & World Affairs
CURA, the oldest center for the study of religion and worlds affairs in the United States, is dedicated to supporting research and education on the role of religion in public affairs. Every year, CURA supports student participation at academic conferences, holds guest speaker events on relevant issues and serves as a convener for discussions on a diverse array of fields. CURA supports faculty research programs such as the Muslim Studies Program, the Finding Religion Program, African Religion and Politics, and Human Rights Activism and Scholarship. CURA’s signature program is the Religion and World Affairs Fellows program and colloquium.
