Research Interests
Dr. Soghomonian directs the Laboratory for the Cellular Biology of the Basal Ganglia. The laboratory currently focuses on neurotransmitter imbalances in the basal ganglia and their contribution to movement, learning, and cognitive disorders. The laboratory uses a combination of anatomical, neurochemical and molecular biology techniques.
