Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences and Engineering

The Center for Systems Neuroscience (CSN) includes many outstanding current systems neuroscience faculty who are housed in a wide range of locations on both the Charles River and Medical Campuses. A subset of CSN faculty have laboratories in the Rajen Kilachand Center for Integrated Life Sciences & Engineering, on the Charles River Campus, which opened in the spring of 2017. Administrative offices for CSN are also housed in the Kilachand Center, on the 7th floor.

The Kilachand Center includes first floor space for social gatherings, seminars, and large-scale discussions. The building provides research space for a subset of CSN faculty performing research using experimental techniques of systems neuroscience in animals or functional imaging in human subjects.

The building includes first floor facilities for the Center for Cognitive Neuroimaging, which provides support for neuroimaging techniques, including a 3T Siemens fMRI scanner, as well as testing rooms for behavioral studies.
