Andrew Wolfe’s career as a full-time professor began after three decades developing commercial, hosted, and in-house database applications.  Among these projects was the database design for Oracle Configurator, which earned a Gartner Magic Quadrant position in both technological vision and quality of execution.  Database design continues as a key research interest, as Wolfe continues successful application of relational technology where it’s thought unfeasible.  Wolfe’s other research interest is information security, which began with his early career in Defense contracting, but which continued throughout.  Wolfe rewrote MET’s Database Security course in 2019 and has taught most of its database and several of its security courses. Andrew Wolfe is now teaching for MET online after moving to Louisiana.
