Job Description
We are seeking a part-time lecturer to teach MET CS 688: Web Mining and Graph Analytics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web analytics, data mining, unsupervised machine learning, and graph mining algorithms including community detections, link analysis, task scheduling, etc. The course covers essential topics such as web scraping, feature extraction, sentiment analysis, clustering, and graph mining.
Required Technical Knowledge/Skills
Applicants should be proficient in teaching theoretical concepts and guiding students through advanced machine learning methods used for web mining. While the course involves coding in R and Python, the focus is on teaching core algorithms and methodologies rather than programming skills. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
