Excellence in Graduate Study

Department of Computer Science Honors Mary Mueni Lucas (MET’20), Mikhail Chertushkin (MET’20), and Matthew Schuckmann (MET’20) with Awards for Excellence in Graduate Study

Each year at Commencement, Boston University’s Metropolitan College presents Awards of Excellence to undergraduate and graduate students, part-time faculty, and distinguished alumni. This year a virtual ceremony was held over Zoom on Thursday, October 1, 2020 for the presentation of the awards.

“We finished the spring semester remotely, without a formal commencement ceremony in May,” noted Dean Zlateva in her opening remarks to the honorees. “That does not diminish your accomplishments—on the contrary, I would suggest that you excelled despite unprecedented challenges. We are here, now, to celebrate your academic achievements and contributions to the MET community.”
