Frontiers of Project Management Put into Focus at 2019 PMiP Conference
Held June 13 and 14 here at BU, this year’s Project Management in Practice Conference (PMiP) saw participants both brush up on their agile skills and develop a deeper understanding of how PM practices can be applied to life sciences. With a gamut of programming—including panels on leadership techniques, conflict management strategies, managing change, and many others—the conference was a success and gave those in attendance ample opportunity not only to learn but to network with peers. IPM’s Dr. Paul Cook and BU President of Information Services and Technology Tracy Schroeder enlightened the crowd with their keynote addresses, giving the project managers plenty to think about until next year’s conference.
