Boston University’s Metropolitan College now offers a Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics
I am pleased to announce that the Metropolitan College Department of Computer Science will be offering a Master of Science in Applied Data Analytics (MSADA). Launching in Fall 2019, this new graduate degree will help meet the fast growing need for professionals in data analytics.
Offered in the evening on campus and fully online, the MSADA is ideal for those with a computer science or engineering background, or relevant job experience, that wish to develop analytics aptitude in order to prepare for increasingly complex interactions with data across every industry.
As a student, you will gain a solid foundation in data analytics—including the ability to understand and apply concepts and techniques for organizing, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing large amounts of data—while learning the latest industry tools and approaches.
Additional MSADA curricular benefits include:
- Hands-on class projects ensure that during your studies you will develop a portfolio of analytics-focused work while acquiring practical data analytics skills that are immediately applicable on the job in a variety of industries.
- The eight-course program (32 credits) can be finished in as few as 16 months, online or on campus.
